For State House
Health Care
When I am elected I will look into what can be done to make health care more affordable to every citizen and do everything I can within my ability to see to it that something will be done.
Also I believe there are various ways the state can get involved in a preventive health care plan, to promote and encourage a healthy life style to be less dependent on the health care system.
Education
I believe that education is the foundation that all great things are built upon. Therefore I will see to it that our public K-12 schools are properly funded and take care of the teachers that work with our future everyday. Also I will find ways to keep college tuition from increasing every year so that high school graduates will not be discouraged by the price of going to college.
Economy
With the Kansas minimum wage at $2.65, the lowest in the country, I will work to give Kansas a raise! The state needs to create an environment that will appeal to out of state companies to attract them to do business here and to produce more jobs for our citizens. A friendly environment is also needed to encourage our local entrepreneurs to stay and create jobs in their hometowns and state.
Energy
This state has an awesome supply of both wind and solar energy. Kansas should rely on its current energy sources while working on setting the bar and being the leader in both wind and solar development.
